Privacy
Your trade file never leaves your browser. Prop Preflight has no server that receives it, no account to sign into, and no database of traders.
Your trade file
When you choose a file, the page reads it inside your browser tab and runs the replay there. The file, its rows, its file name, your account names and your results are not sent anywhere. Closing the tab discards them.
You can check this yourself: open your browser's developer tools, switch to the Network tab and load a file. No request carries it.
What is saved on your device
The page saves a few settings in your browser's local storage so they are there next time: the fee rates you entered, the platform you picked for firms that price by platform, prices you entered for evaluations, the tab you last used, your measurement choice, and any accounts you added on the My accounts tab. They stay on that device and in that browser. Clearing the site's data in your browser settings deletes them. We can't see them.
Measurement
Measurement is on, using Umami.
When measurement is on, each event sends only a fixed name and fixed labels: which page or tab was viewed, the export format of an uploaded file, the number of trades and trading days rounded into broad ranges (for example "500-1999"), the result type (such as "don't buy yet"), which evaluation's replay was opened, and which firm link was clicked. Every value comes from a short list built into the page, so there is no field that could carry a trade, a profit figure, a price you typed, a file name or an account name. No cookies are set and no identifier is stored; the measurement service sees one anonymous request per event. The page address is sent without anything after it, and where you came from is reduced to the site's name.
Measurement is always off when your browser sends Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track. You can also turn it off for this browser here:
Email alerts
If you sign up for rule-change alerts, your email address goes straight to our email provider and is used only to send those alerts. Every email has an unsubscribe link.
Links to prop firms
When you click a link to a firm, you leave this site and the firm's own privacy policy applies. Some links may be affiliate links. An affiliate link tells the firm that you came from Prop Preflight so it can pay us a commission if you buy; the firm may record that. Every affiliate link is labeled where it appears.
Hosting
The site is a set of static files served by our hosting provider. Like any web host, it processes the technical details of each request, such as IP address and browser type, to deliver pages and protect against abuse, under its own privacy terms. We don't use those logs to identify visitors.
Children
The site is meant for adults. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
