About Prop Preflight
A prop firm evaluation is a bet on how your trading meets one firm's rules. Prop Preflight lets you check that bet against your own trade history before you pay for it.
Why it exists
Most comparison sites rank firms by price, reviews and discount codes. Those don't tell you the thing that decides whether you pass: how your own trades meet each firm's drawdown, lock, daily loss, size and consistency rules. The same history can pass at one firm and fail at another because of a single rule, such as a drawdown that follows open profit instead of end-of-day balance.
Prop Preflight replays your trades against each evaluation's published rules, using each firm's own commissions, and shows how often a new evaluation would have passed on any day in your history, where the failures came from, and what it would have cost. When your history doesn't support buying, it says so.
How it stays honest
- Your file stays on your device. The replay runs in your browser. Nothing is uploaded. See privacy.
- Rules come from the firms. Every pass-or-fail rule comes from the firm's own pages, with the source and check date shown. Recommendations switch off on their own if a review is more than 14 days old. See the rules.
- Uncertainty is shown. Every pass rate comes with a likely range based on how many truly separate attempts your history holds. See methods.
- "Don't buy yet" is a real answer. A history that loses money after fees, or that no evaluation passes reliably, gets told so.
How it makes money
Prop Preflight is free and has no subscription. It may earn affiliate commissions when someone buys an evaluation through a labeled link. Commissions never change a pass rate, a ranking or a verdict, and the engine that computes them has no access to affiliate information. Details are in the disclosures.
