Disclosures
Prop Preflight is free. If it earns money, it does so through labeled affiliate links, and those links never change what the tool tells you.
Affiliate links
Some links to prop firms on this site may be affiliate links. If you buy an evaluation through one, the firm may pay us a commission at no extra cost to you, and some firms give a discount to buyers who use one.
- Every affiliate link is labeled "Affiliate link" right next to it. Links without that label are plain links that earn us nothing.
- No affiliate links are active at the moment.
- Commissions play no part in the results. The replay engine has no access to affiliate information. Pass rates, ranges, rankings and verdicts are the same whether or not a firm pays us, and the tool tells you not to buy when your history doesn't support it.
- An affiliate link is only used while that evaluation's rules are verified and current. If a review is overdue, the link falls back to the firm's plain site.
Hypothetical results
Every pass rate, range, cost and replay on this site is hypothetical. It replays trades you already made, or a backtest you ran, under an evaluation's rules. Those evaluations were never actually traded with those trades.
Hypothetical or simulated performance results have certain limitations. Unlike an actual performance record, simulated results do not represent actual trading. Also, since the trades have not been executed, the results may have under- or over-compensated for the impact, if any, of certain market factors, such as lack of liquidity. Simulated trading programs in general are also subject to the fact that they are designed with the benefit of hindsight. No representation is being made that any account will or is likely to achieve profit or losses similar to those shown.
In particular:
- Fills, slippage and commissions in a real evaluation can differ from your file.
- The order of the best and worst point inside each trade is estimated.
- Firm rules change, and we model only the rules listed on each evaluation's page.
- A pass rate describes how often your past trades would have passed. It is not the chance that you will pass next time.
- Passing an evaluation is not a payout. Funded-account rules and payouts are not modeled.
Not advice, not affiliated
Prop Preflight is an information tool. It does not give investment, trading, tax or legal advice, and it is not a broker, a commodity trading advisor or a prop firm. We are independent of every firm listed; none of them sponsors or endorses this site. Firm names and trademarks belong to their owners and are used only to identify them.
Trading futures involves substantial risk of loss and is not suitable for everyone. Most people who buy prop firm evaluations never receive a payout. Topstep's own disclosure for 2025 says 51.8% of people who started a Trading Combine reached its funded level and 33.3% of funded traders received a payout, roughly one in six overall (Topstep disclosures). Tradeify reports 40.3% and 28.5% for August 2025 to July 2026, roughly one in nine (Tradeify).
